On 27th February 2026, Malawi Agricultural and Industrial Investment Corporation (MAIIC) plc conducted a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) flood relief initiative in Chinsapo, Lilongwe, following heavy rains that affected several households in the area.
The initiative supported 46 affected families through the donation of essential relief items including maize flour, beans, cooking oil, blankets, hygiene supplies, and temporary shelter materials. The exercise was conducted in collaboration with DODMA, Lilongwe City Council, community leaders, and ward representatives to ensure fair distribution and proper coordination.
The activity brought together MAIIC staff, local leaders, and the media in a collective effort to provide immediate support and restore hope to affected families. Through initiatives like this, MAIIC continues to demonstrate its commitment to meaningful corporate social responsibility and community support across Malawi.
