On 1st April 2026, Malawi Agricultural and Industrial Investment Corporation (MAIIC) plc, in partnership with Lilongwe Water Board (LWB), conducted a tree planting exercise at Malingunde Dam 2 as part of its commitment to environmental sustainability and community development.
The initiative involved planting 500 indigenous Ntagatanga trees to support reforestation, protect water catchment areas, and promote climate resilience. The exercise brought together MAIIC staff, LWB representatives, community members, and the media in a shared effort to build a greener and healthier environment.
Through initiatives like this, MAIIC continues to uphold its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles by investing in sustainable projects that positively impact communities and future generations. 🌱
